to thank fans for their support.
Lavigne opened up to a fan who direct-messaged her on
Twitter asking why she hadn't been very active on the
micro-blogging site. "I'm having health issues. So please
keep me in your prayers," Lavigne responded, and a rep
confirmed to Billboard that the DM screenshot was
authentic.
On Friday (Dec. 12), Lavigne thanked fans -- though she
didn't shed any light on just what kind of health issues
she's facing.
