Pinewood studios to make 007 fan's dreams come true
by announcing the cast, locations, title and car for the
24th Bond movie.
Spectre will begin shooting on Monday December
8th in Pinewood London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier &
Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake
Altausee, Austria, with a release date of 23 October
2015.
The Skyfall production team will return, with John
Logan, Robert Wade and Neal Purvis on script duties
while Interstellar cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema
will replace Skyfall ’s Roger Deakins.
Rory Kinnear, Ben Withshaw, Ralph Fiennes and
Naomie Harris will return as team MI6, while
Sherlock’s Andrew Scott will join them as the possibly
villainous Denbigh.
On the opposing side, Dave Bautista will take on the
role of Mr Hinx, a henchman in the vein of Odd Job and
Jaws, while Christoph Waltz will take on main villain
duties as Oberhauser.
Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux are on Bond girl
duties in a stroke of fantastic casting as Lucia Sciarra
and Madeleine Swann respectively.
And Bond’s vehicle of choice will be the new Aston
Martin DB10 [below], designed specifically for the film.
There’s a lot to take in, but perhaps most exciting of all
is the name, with Spectre being the criminal
organization that troubled Bond for many of the early
films. Does this mean Waltz will indeed play Blofeld?
