Olamide Blames Poor State Of Nigerian Music On Older Generation

Rapper Olamide has said the older generation is
partly to blame for the poor state of Nigerian
music.
“The Nigerian music industry is popular but
lacks content because the right knowledge has
not been properly passed from one generation to
the other,” Olamide said in an interview with
MyStreetz magazine.
“We have failed to properly raise protégés across
all sectors of the music industry ( from
performing artistes, sound engineers,
instrumentalists).”
Is Olamide right?
