University of Abuja declares Tuesday, 26th and Thursday and Friday as lecture free days.
Tuesday for the Student Union Government elections while Thursday 28 and Friday 29th of January for the orientation exercise of all 100 level students.
The lift of banner, campaign and manifesto will take place on Mon, 25th January
Elections Guidelines:
The Senate report contained has only contestants with the required CGPA of 3.0 and above prior to 2012/2013 academic are eligible to context for respective post of President, Vice President and General secretary.
CGPA OF 2.5 and above prior to 2012/2013 Academic Session are qualified to meet up other positions.
- By elections shall be scheduled to hold after the conclusion of the inconclusive executive election for the vacant position.
- All regular undergraduate students of University of abuja are eligible to vote
- At the polling units, students must present original screening form or school ID card. However, the spill-over students who may wish to vote must present their current original stamped school fees receipt.
- Voting starts 11am and concludes 4pm
- No student will be allowed to enter the campus until voting commences.
